Staying connected and engaged in the community is important for everyone. Our Community Connections program currently runs every Wednesday and Thursday from 10am- 3pm at our very own Activity Hub in the town centre of Narrogin. Participants enjoy a variety of activities together, in small groups, or individually. Two creative and dedicated Program Coordinators and a dynamic team of Support staff aid everyone attending the inhouse and community-based activities. They ensure everyone is supported as they participate and remain connected. Accessability offers a range of activities within the program and participants attend activities that are tailored to meet the goals in their individual plan.
Inhouse activities include learning life skills like meal preparation, using a computer, creative arts and crafts, dance & design, music days & recreational games. Community based activities include swimming, gym activities, library, community gardens, walking group, Men’s shed, visiting, and joining in with local community group activities. Picnics and trips away to visit places of interest and having a good dose of FUN are a regular feature.
