Staying connected and engaged in community is important for everyone.
Our Community Connection program currently runs every Wednesday and Thursday from 10am -3pm at our very own Activity Hub in Narrogin. Participants enjoy a variety of activities together, in small groups or individually.
Two creative and dedicated Program Coordinators and a dynamic team of Support staff provide assistance to everyone attending the inhouse and community based activities. They ensure everyone is supported as they participate and remain connected.
Accessability offers a range of activities within the program and participants attend activities that are tailored to meet the goals in their individual plan.
Inhouse activities include learning life skills like meal preparation, using a computer, creative arts and crafts, dance and design, music days, recreational games.
Community based activities include Swimming, Gym activities, Library, Community Gardens, Walking Group, Men’s Shed, visiting and joining in with local community group activities.
Picnics and trips away to visit places of interest and having a good dose of FUN are a regular feature.
